(Up to 60 minutes)
The tour can take in topical aspects relevant to students’ study requirements – please liaise with the Museum for
specific topics which need to be addressed.

Testimonials

The Vietnam Veterans Museum is one of the
best museums our school has visited.
Absolutely fantastic! Well laid out and easy to
navigate, lots of things to see and do, great little
café and super friendly staff.
I highly recommend this museum to any school
for an amazing experience which provides a
greater understanding about what our veterans
went through in Vietnam.

The first word every student utters as they
enter the NVVM is ‘wow’. While at school they
analyse documents and pour over texts, at the
museum they can touch, carry and wear the
actual artefact’s of the war.
Our boys are always impressed with the aircraft
and weaponry, but it is the opportunity to wear
the gear while chatting to real veterans about
their experiences that leaves the most profound
impression. It might seem like a long trip down
to the island, but we take the opportunity to
show a Vietnam War film on the bus and contrast
the Hollywood version with the experiences of
the vets.
It is never a question as to whether our
students go to the NVVM, only when.
