Volunteering your assistance is a great start. The museum is in need of
people with a great range of skills – i.e.
Bookkeeping
Property maintenance
Librarian expertise
Retail sales
Museum guide
Vehicle / aircraft restoration
Café staff (food handling accreditation would be most helpful but
not essential)
...and almost anything else. Any assistance that you can give, large
or small will be welcome.
A half day or full day a fortnight would greatly assist our rostering.
The 'Buy a Brick' campaign remembers Veterans and their families, as well
as raising funds for the Museum, The 2007 Museum Development Program is
now active. Find out more about the Buy
A Brick campaign and how you can participate.
Donations to the museum are always welcome. Your donation will contribute
to keeping the spirit alive for future generations. All donations over
$2 are tax deductable.

The aim of the Museum Board is to develop the existing Museum into a world
class facility that will bring the Vietnam War to life for the enjoyment,
education and research of future generations.
Sponsorship opportunities are open to individuals, groups or businesses
to help achieve this. Whether small or large any proposal will be welcome.
A few of the sponsorships we are currently seeking that are open for
your consideration: -
- The restoration of
- Canberra Jet Bomber
- Wessex Helicopter
- Centurion Tank
- Acquisition and erection of an additional hanger to house the above
during restoration and for display after completion.
- Acquisition of audio-visual equipment to help bring our exhibits
to life. This is a positive aid to learning for future generations.
- Acquisition and installation of heating equipment for the Museum
display area.
- Sponsorship of various display cabinets or specific presentation
bays.
For further information contact the Museum Administration Manager at
any time to discuss a sponsorship proposal.
A bequest is a lasting way of investing in the future of this unique and
important Museum. Whether modest or substantial it contributes to the
future development of the Museum and in doing so helps perpetuate the
memory of those who served there country. A “Recognition Board”
is to be established to formally acknowledge bequests when fulfilled.
A bequest can be financial, property or memorabilia (What will the kids
do with it?)
For more information please contact the Museum Manager by phone or by
mail in an envelope clearly marked “Private and Confidential –
Manager Only”. All bequest details will be treated in the strictest
confidence.
