Without the later pre requirement of Jungle Training at Canungra this section was made up of regular force Military Police volunteers who went from everyday home based MP duties to a situation of front line and urban guerrilla warfare.
Their stories about the initial set up, movement arrival and service including their own and Joint Military Police Patrols with their American and New Zealand counterparts, including pictures of personnel and actual events makes this a book you would want to keep just for the history it contains.
The author, Ray Bate BEM, was one of the members of that first section. An informative read.
